The focus of this ministry is to serve the needs of individuals or families within our congregation and to provide outreach opportunities to serve the community. We accomplish this ministry through a number of projects:
 
  • Semi-annual American Red Cross Bloodmobile
  • Telephone Tree
  • Prayer Chain
  • Card Ministry
  • Visits to shut-ins and the sick
  • Family Crisis Support

Blood Drive
*It feels good to save a life*
 
Our 34th Blood Drive on Monday, May 10th collected 124 units of blood.  That can help as many as 1000 people!  There were 42 St. Philip members who participated, this is a record!  Thank you everyone who helped in anyway by donating your blood, by volunteering your time on the day of the blood drive, or for providing abundance of food.  The next Bloodmobile will be on October 4, 2010.
